This very Impressionist scene of a California forest is evidence of John O'Shea-€™s versatility and interest in experimenting with many styles throughout his long career. The blues, greens, pinks, golds and yellows dance in the filtered sunlight. But it is the strong burnt sienna color of the redwood trunk which draws our attention.
