Join Flora Fauna exhibition catalog contributing writer, Helaine Glick, for a conversation highlighting the work of featured artists, Elizabeth Barlow and Susan Manchester. Participants will take a closer look at the exhibition in the context of the plants and animals that inspired it, and the universal ways in which these subjects have been intertwined with both our cultural and art history for millennia.

Helaine Glick Bio:
Helaine Glick is an independent curator and art writer. She was an Assistant Curator at the Monterey Museum of Art, where she worked for more than fifteen years. At MMA she curated a range of collection and solo exhibitions, plus major photography exhibitions, In Sharp Focus: The Legacy of Monterey Photography and Bob Kolbrener: In Real Time. She recently completed two terms as a Trustee at Center for Photographic Art in Carmel where she was Chair of the Programs Committee. She has curated exhibitions for Center for Photographic Art, Sonoma Valley Museum of Art, NUMU New Museum Los Gatos, and works as a consultant for Winfield Gallery in Carmel. She has authored numerous essays for artist brochures, exhibition catalogues, and books.
