Join Tor House Foundation President Elliot Ruchowitz-Roberts for a tour through the exhibition The Fire of Heaven: Enrique Martínez Celaya and Robinson Jeffers. Ruchowitz-Roberts will recite the poetry that inspired the title of this exhibition and share in depth knowledge about how Robinson Jeffers’ has influenced the artist and his practice for nearly two decades.

Bio:
Elliot Ruchowitz-Roberts serves as President of the Robinson Jeffers’ Tor House Foundation in Carmel, where he coordinates the Foundation’s annual Prize for Poetry, the annual reading series, and serves as a tour docent. Ruchowitz-Roberts has taught the poetry of Robinson Jeffers at Monterey Peninsula College and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI). He also coordinated the National Endowment for the Arts “The Big Read: The Poetry of Robinson Jeffers.”
