Event, Support, and Special Projects Docents

If you need a flexible volunteer schedule, join the behind-the-scenes fun and help out with events at the Museum. Opportunities include serving refreshments, greeting visitors and clerical support.

Docent Program

Monterey Museum of Art Tour Docents assist visitors’ understanding and appreciation of the Museum’s collection by encouraging thought-provoking dialogue and by providing accurate, precise information. Docents help visitors develop interpretations of works by providing new ways of seeing and thinking about art.

Flower Arrangers and Volunteer Gardeners

Help keep MMA and La Mirada gardens beautiful. If you enjoy flowers and gardening, join the Museum’s beautification team.
