Calling All Artists!
The Monterey Museum of Art announces Miniatures 2022 – the Museum’s annual members fundraising exhibition that celebrates our talented community of artists. All current Museum members are invited to donate an original work of art (no larger than 8 x 9 in) to the exhibition.
Miniatures will be on view in the galleries and accessible via our digital catalog. Anyone will be able to donate toward their favorite Miniature artworks, with proceeds benefitting the MMA. At the end of the exhibition, a donor from each piece will be chosen at random to add the Miniature to their personal collection – make sure to donate to all your favorites!
The Museum is grateful to all the Miniatures artists whose participation enables us to raise funds to present dynamic exhibitions, conserve collection artworks, develop meaningful education experiences, and serve broader audiences.
Staff will be accepting miniatures at MMA Pacific Street (559 Pacific Street, Monterey) Thursday, August 18th, through Sunday, August 21, 11:00am – 5:00pm.
