Robin Robinson

ROBIN V. ROBINSON is a Carmel photographer who has studied and worked with generous West Coast Photography mentors for over 25 years. She is curious about the way we look at the planet and ourselves, especially in watery environments both above and below. Robin hand prints her work in the darkroom, and enjoys applying experimental printing techniques to her dream-like images. Her degrees in engineering and music from Cal Poly and Stanford Universities, and her personal studies of depth psychology contribute to her distinctive style of seeing and creating art. Robinson’s work is in the permanent collections of the Monterey Museum of Art, the Bibliotheque Nationale de France and the National Mariners’ Museum, among others.
