Fashion as Art

July 12-16
9:00am-12:00pm
Ages 8-11

What does it mean to be fashionable? What does it mean to be sustainable?

Let’s push the limits of fashion as art by fabricating and transforming ordinary garments made by fast fashion into wonderful and magical pieces of wearable art that shout messages of sustainability and accountability for the materials we produce and discard on a daily basis. Use unconventional materials to design and create your own pieces of wearable art that expresses your uniqueness. Don’t forget about the runway walk and the end of the week to celebrate!
